I am a stay-at-home mom to an adorable 8-month-old little boy. He actually is very adorable, and my reasoning isn't because I am biased. If you require proof, please see exhibit 1 above.
My husband, son, and I all live in the wonder and grandeur of the Pacific Northwest. The Seattle area is the most beautiful place on Earth ... well, at least the most beautiful place I have ever been. All I can say for you rain-haters out there is, "If ya don't like it, leave! More rain for me." :-) Even when it doesn't rain here, the days are beautiful beyond compare. As Nirvana and Perry Como both once sang so eloquently:
The bluest skies you've ever seen are in SeattleMy husband and I graduated college and instantly feel in love with the place. We are now permanent fixtures here and don't plan on moving away any time soon.
And the hills the greenest green, in Seattle
Like a beautiful child, growing up, free an' wild
Full of hopes an' full of fears, full of laughter, full of tears
Full of dreams to last the years, in Seattle
. . . in Seattle!
However, my fanaticism over the Pacific Northwest isn't the only thing that defines me. I am an aspiring photographer. Actually, I just bought some fancy camera and learned how to blur backgrounds and focus on the subject in the forefront to make photos look all neat-o! I play the piano. I think I am working on about 15 different songs right now where I can play the first 10 measures perfectly and then I fall apart and stop. If I could only put all of those measures together into one song.... hmmm..... good thought.
Well, I can't post everything about me the first time I blog. Otherwise, what will keep everyone coming back? My glittering prose???? We'll just have to see... muwah, ha, ha. Ok, that was one superfluous maniacal laugh, but every once in a while you just need a mustache-twisting, top-hat grabbing laugh. Ha.
