Joel and I took Reid to the Puyallup Fair the first weekend it opened. We had a pretty good time. They wouldn't let Reid on any of the safer kiddy rides if he was under two. So we decided that we would institute the "don't ask, don't tell" policy when it came to his age.
Reid got to bang on some garbage instruments, meet the Backyardigans, ride the merry-go-round, and have fun on a real, live horse! It was hot that day and Reid hadn't had a haircut in a while. His poor little head was wet with sweat.

He also got to see some farm animals. Joel and I have finally realized that outings with Reid are usually more work than they are fun. But you take one for the team so that Reid has fun, right?
